MIRANDA UPDATE

I've been working on Miranda for a little while. Trying to do some new techniques, especially for the hair. And if you look good, everything is a lil bit out of proportion. Look at the mouth/lips/chin and the eyes! But it still look good in my opinion. Going to buy new paper and other materials when i have money again.

This is a drawing i'm working on right now, i'm happy with the outcome so far. But hee, i'm still learning! I'm going to practice alot more with the hair and eyes. I want those perfect!

Anyway, some more feedback about the girl on the picture. I was and i'm still obsessed by Mass Effect and i recently finished the second version of the game. This time u'll meet Miranda Lawson who will guide you in whole journey of the game. When i finally saw a good picture of her on the internet i saw she was real. In fact, her name is 'Yvonne Strahovski'. In this portrait she will be herself cause i'll make another one of her as a Miranda Lawson. Anyway, again, here is my portrait ...

INSPIRATIONSOURCES

So i've been doing almost nothing lately and just surfing around for art. And almost everyday i see amazing art pieces which inspire me. What should be a boost to my own work, but i've kinda slow down. Sometimes you have a day full of inspiration and happyness and then you want to do everything (not specific art). When you get home and start surfing around on the internet, you see these things. And then your like: damn, come on man .. you can do this to. It's just that i'm to unpatient to wait to see some real result. But i'm still working on it! What would really help is to have a buddy to share and talk about these things. But that wasn't what i wanted to talk about actually cause i wanted to show some awesome stuff that i find worth sharing. Big up to all these CG-artists for inspiring other people! POSTER/FLYER DESIGN GLOW

And finally here it is, the new poster/flyer design for dubstep/goa/house/techno Glow parties in 's-Hertogenbosch! This time dubstep/techno, that's more my thing. So a little bit about the design; i actually had an whole other idea, i basically wanted to make 1 face cellshaded and split it in like 2 musicgenre-maniac's. And since i was struggling with everything, not specifically the design, it kinda went wrong but also good as you see. I had a hard time to accept the design as it is now. But after all, i'm happy about it and that's about it i guess. Down here the poster

ON THE MOVE

So i haven't been posting for like a while, lemme check, 20 days i see here. Still working on some things, so dont think i'm dead! Most of the times i have my papers and copics with me just in case. Besides that i am working on some party flyers/posters which is a good promotion for myself. That means i have to work on my own logo fast cause they have to be on it! I'm also restyling my room, i have a better desk if u read the previous post. Which is also alot better for my back. Anyway, it looks more like an office right now. And o yeay, before i forget, i'm planning to make 6 paintings. Information comes when i'm done with all the other stuff and have enough time to prepare myself.
