MANGA COMICS & MARKERS

Internet gives you alot bullshit, but also alot of inspiration. On my search for marker technique tutorials i found some interesting artwork. If i think about these markers, manga pops into my mind. I'm more of the realistic style of art, but this is kind of interesting to. Let's have a look here

COPIC GASMASK-SKETCH 1/4

As since i use these Copic-markers alot lately, i found out some new techniques and draw alot of bullshit. So here is one of these bullshit. From a recent original picture, proportion drawn with free hand. For the people who are curious, it's me! Which i'm not really happy about is the skintone. I used grayscale markers to darken them, but it makes the skintone sad. And i've only got 1 skintone color so it's my number one priority to buy some new skintones!

GLOW TECHNO BANNER

The previous banner was also made for Glow but that was for the dubstep editions. On that same party was another room with techno-music which i really enjoyed when i helped the boys out with selling hotdogs and cheesed toast. So it was hanging somewhere in that small area and i did not even see it, pretty lame. Anyway here it is.

Outcome wasn't like as i expected, but i'm pretty satisfied with it. Although it isn't really my style. Playing with Photoshop is the best you can learn from. And that's what i always did and some times u suprise yourself!

NEW COPIC SKETCHES

So yesterday i took the bike to get some new Copic markers because i needed new colors. As since i have no patient i kind of quite drawing with it untill i saw some tutorials online. And now i know how to blend colors, so i tried and it worked! These markers are pretty good for concept art, anime and architectural sketches. Defenitely going to use these markers more often cause there fun to work with! The only disadvantage is that there quite expensive: 6,50 each. Plus the ink refill i bought was about 9,95 ... it's worth it ...

Anywayzzz, as u see i made a picture. This time with my mobile and i see i'm missing one marker (beige) ..

TATTOO DESIGN

I haven't seen this design a while but i really want to use it as for my own tattoo. The main reason why i still haven't got it on my arm is, yes yes .. afcourse it's money! Besides that i'm a perfectionist and i still want to change it once in a while. But here you go, this is my latest update of my tattoo.

 

I actually paid to get this "Ambigram" and redesigned it because it wasn't very dynamic. Fair enough right? So a little bit more life in it and not so abstract. It's actually my first name and last name merged in one word. Here you can see it both ways.

GLOW GOES W2 - 25 SEPTEMBER

And afcourse again a new edition of Glow dubstep. With a 3 by 1 metre banner design of mine on the dj-booth! Gotta be proud of yourself sometimes haha. Anyway, i enjoyed this weekend. Too bad it was over so quickly. And i didn't even see everyone inside cause the party was sold out. So ticket is important, that's for sure. But i made the banner so hihi ..

So this is the final design after alot of sketching. This was originally a try-out but it looked cool so why not use it! I used a buddies picture to make this awesome face and some random slobber on the logo.

INTRODUCTION

Okay, i'm just going to say what pops into my mind. I wanted to make a website for a long time, but it never came of my own stupidity. So, why not make a blog? 
Going to drop everything i make here, from art to samplers and so on. So i'm going to suprise myself from now on i guess ...
